Yes, LogoPacker is completely free to use. We do not charge for any of the services or features provided
Started as a Learning Project: This app began as a personal "scratch-the-itch" project, created to fill a gap I noticed in simple, flexible logo export options. It also served as a way for me to dive deep into SVG manipulation on the web and build a hands-on understanding of graphic processing for different formats.
Simplicity in Monetization: Rather than setting up and managing an online store, the decision to offer the app for free and use ad-based support makes it much easier to maintain. Ad revenue allows us to cover costs without needing to charge users directly, keeping the tool accessible for everyone.
Opportunities for Future Collaboration and Services: By offering a free tool, we can reach a broad user base and potentially connect users to additional design services they might find useful. This can include optional paid offerings like design consultations, custom branding packages, or partnerships with other software providers. Free access builds trust and keeps doors open for future service expansions.
LogoPacker supports SVG files for upload. The generated logo variations can be downloaded in PNG, JPEG, EPS, PDF and ICO formats.
Supporting multiple file formats is essential to accommodate the wide range of use cases and industry needs for logo files. Each format offers unique benefits, so by providing several options, our app ensures users can create assets suited for any specific application. Here’s a breakdown of why each format matters:
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics): SVG is ideal for scalability without loss of quality, making it perfect for both small icons and large banners. It’s also web-friendly and easily customizable, allowing users to adjust colors or dimensions directly through code, which is especially useful for web developers and UI designers.
PNG (Portable Network Graphics): PNG files support transparency, which is critical for logos intended for use on different backgrounds (e.g., websites, presentations, and social media). PNG is also widely compatible with most online platforms, making it a go-to for digital use.
JPG (Joint Photographic Experts Group): JPG files offer a smaller file size, which is useful for quick loading on web pages or for sharing via email. While it doesn’t support transparency, its compact size makes it suitable for quick previews or low-resolution needs.
PDF (Portable Document Format): PDF is a top choice for high-resolution print materials. It’s compatible with virtually all print vendors and supports high-quality color output, which makes it ideal for business cards, brochures, or any printed marketing material.
EPS (Encapsulated PostScript): EPS is a widely-used format in the print industry, particularly for large-scale prints like banners or billboards. It’s a reliable option for designers working with vector-based software and provides flexibility when collaborating with printers and vendors.
Each format adds value by serving a particular purpose, ensuring our users have the right tool for every scenario. This comprehensive support makes the app versatile, capable of meeting the varied needs of professionals across different media and industries.
Color is converted using JsColorSpace with Us Web Coated SWOP ICC profile. Note that the color conversion might not be 100% accurate. Please check the generated files before submitting to client.
